Chase Utley
The Phillies opened a huge series tonight with the Florida Marlins. Coming into the game, the Marlins had a .5 game lead on the NL East, but they are playing a Phillies team that has seen their bats come alive over the past week.

The hot Philadelphia offense didn’t cool down one bit. The Phillies hammered the Marlins to the tune of 12-3. Brett Myers got his first win in the month of May and Chase Utley hit his 18th homerun of the year. If he keeps playing like this, there is a good chance there will be a Philadephia player as NL MVP for the third straight year.

The other day, I wrote a post about Go Daddy’s services being down and not being able to access any of my Go Daddy hosted WordPress blogs. Somehow someone at Go Daddy read my post and pushed it up the chain.

Now, I’ve been using Go Daddy for a while and this was the first outage I’ve had with them. It’s not something that I’ve seen before. Well, someone from the Office of the President at Go Daddy posted a comment in response, explaining the outage. That’s impressive. Thank you.

Go back to the previous post to see what I wrote and their response.

I just went to log into one of my other WordPress blogs that I have hosted through Go Daddy. Nothing. Even Go Daddy’s own website is down. Wonder how long this is going to last.

Today is Memorial Day. I want to take a moment to say Thank You. Thank You for all that you have done and continue to do for this country and its citizens.

With almost a week of hype leading up to the Stanley Cup Finals, I was starting to get sick to my stomach with all praise being laid at the feet of the Pittsburgh Penguins. Granted, they’re good, but they haven’t won it yet. They still have to beat the Red Wings. Plus, I don’t like the Penguins or Sidney Crosby all that much.

It’s also been very funny how all these Penguins fans have emerged from nowhere. Just 15 months ago, the Penguins were about to leave Pittsburgh. Now that they’re winning, they suddenly have this fantastic fan base. But, I digress.

Here is the entrance by Penguins goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury last night. I’m still laughing at this.
